1 March, Day 1.

The two schools met at Bolivia Lodge, Polokwane in the Limpopo province. We happily welcomed them, once they've settled in we started discussing about where they come from we exchanged ideas and thoughts. What i know about their country is that there is no president but only a King and a Queen rules. They go for first grade in school for nine years and second grade for three years, and can pursue the career of your dreams, which is equivalent to South African schooling system. We go to primary schoolfor seven years and secondary for 5 years.

2 March, Day 2

As the time goes by we met again at the Polokwane Showground. The clock has just turned 9am when we met at the meetingpoint at Polokwane Showground. I Joseph Rametse and my beloved friend Alexander Eriksson went out on a thrillingadventure, even though the sky was crying on us. We saw millitary armunition and caspers. After that we walked around in the machines near the millitary are. After we was done looking at the excavators and the wheel loaders, we looked at ”drag the truck” show. At 12:00pm we went to eat our lunch, after eating we went to Eskom  dubhouse and we were told about electricity. We saw animal exhibitions, we saw stunning sports cars and helicopters. Im really hoping to meet again tomorrow, really having fun.

3 March, Day 3

In the Snake Park. We saw real good snakes like the python, puff adder, the mexican block kingsnake, and we saw some birds. We did also se som more natural animals like birds, lizards and horses. The park had alot of birds like peacocks. The park also had some animals that lives in Sweden too like sheeps, pigs, horses and ostridges. But the crockodiles and the snakes was the most scary one. We went on lunch time, we ate our food. We talked yes, we learnt swedish and we thought them our languages like Afrikans pedi,wlu e.t.c. They are very fast learners.

4 March, Day 4.

We arrived at Lekota Hight school at 8 AM. The Lekota was out on the assembly when we arrived. They made a big entrance. We went out on the garden, we planted trees and dug holes, where  we are going to plant vegetables. At 12:00 we went to a eat our lunch. It was about 13:00PM when we  went to the garden to continue with our work. They attended a physical science class. The learners from Jälla goot to meet the learners in Lekota.

March 5, Day 5

This day was a garden day. The goal for the day was to plant vegetables and water hte trees and make it nice and clean in the garden. Each stundent had their own plot. Since our mates had a plot we started to work at that one. We placed stones next to the plot so it looked nicer. In the plot we planted vegetables such as tomatoes, spinnach, leek and lettuce. We used dry grass, almost like hay to make a fertilize system. We placed the grass near the plants and then we watered it so the routing progress could start. We used around 20 buckets of water to water the plants and the trees. In the afternoon i went on a history class. It was about the industry revulotion in England. We ended the day with alot of photos and i also learned my buddie Joseph some swedish words.

March 6, Day 6

Today it was a short day. We started the day with playing games so we should wake up. After that we was ready to do our presentation about our profiles at Jälla. Everyone was nervous but everyone handled it really good. Everyone was pleased and everyone came up with really good presentations.

March 7, Day 7

Today was basically about physical fitness. We played football. Girls played against girls and boys against boys. The swedish girls managed to win the match between Africa and them. It was a very hot day, nearly 35 degrees i think. On the morning, the swedish group watered the school garden. Since the garden is really big it took like 3 hours to water it. The group of the swedish learners was grouped in 4 groups. One in the classroom, one in the garden and one in the kitchen, preparing the food and one in the computer room there they write logs to a computer.

March 8, Day 8

today the school had a cultural day. The day started with a extreme thunder and a hard rain.

The rain and the thunder stopped at 10AM and after that, everyone was dance and jiuing

Lekota students rendored poetry and performance a cultural dance where as stundents from Jälla performed their dances and sung swedish song, they also sung their national anthem.

After Jälla danced it was time for Lekota to do their dance. It was almost 600 people in the school when the dance took place. Everyone was clapping their hands and shouted out the song that was playing. I could say it was a joyous day.

March 9, Day 9

We are at the Malapa Museum.

We saw how ancient people used to live and houses they lived in. At around 11AM we went down to the Irish House museum where we learnt a lot where we learnt alot about the bushmens, rock art and the apartheidera. I also learnt about the discovery at Polokwane, whicch was discovered by General Piet Joubert in 1886. We did also get some information about the bushmens. They are people that live in the mountains outsides the citys. The bushmen often live alone, they normally catch their own food. The scientoligists have found some interesting things from them. The most interesting thing that they have found is the rock art in there they live. They taught us about the early South Africa when blacks where oppressed and discriminated. It was a nice time we had in The Irish House. They had alot of information about Nelson Mandela and Albert Luthuli. They was fighting for a non racist, non sexist and a domecatic country. Albert Luhuli got the nobel price in 1960 and Nelson Mandela got it in 1993.

March 10, Day 10

Today we was in the church. It turned out that we was going early from church since the students from Sweden was going to change hotel.

The church was pretty wierd because it dident look like a normal swedish church. But the girl thatrunned the music had a beautiful voice. She had so hight voice so people starting have headache.

March 11, Day 11

Today we met at Wild Things camp. They rushed into our rooms as 9:30am until tree Unimogs picked us up. The day was planned to look at different animals that lives free in South Africa. We had a really good guide that drived the Unimog through the desert. He did know alot about the different animals. We also had a chance to feed the lion's curb and pet them. We saw the girrafes, hyenas, cattle e.t.c. At around 14:00 we went to the Safari to eat lunch and swim. After the lunch we went out on the lion part of the park. There we got a oppurtunity to take a photo with one year female lions. There we even saw white lions, both female and males. White lions is really hard to find in the wild since its a breed animal. The best thing about the park was the zebras and the girrafes. Sadly the park dident have elephants and rhinos.
